Introducing Generac’s PWRcell – a modular battery storage system that harnesses power from the sun to help reduce your electric bill and provide backup power during utility power outages. PWRcell’s revolutionary technology captures and stores electricity – either from solar panels, or the electrical grid. It allows you to use stored energy during peak demand times when electricity costs are high, which ultimately helps reduce your electric bill and save some money. In the case of a power outage, PWRcell is ready to supply backup power to your home.
PWRcell Battery Cabinet – Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, the PWRcell Battery Cabinet starts with a 9KWh capability, which can be expanded to 18kWh, which can be combined with another Battery Cabinet for a max output of 36kWh available.
PWRcell Inverter – The PWRcell Inverter converts the solar energy from your panels into storable energy for the battery.
PWRcell ATS – The Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) makes load management easy for whole home coverage.
PWRmanager – The PWRmanager, controlled by the PWRview app, gives users the ability to choose what loads they want to power during an outage to conserve your energy to last through an outage.
PWRgenerator – The PWRgenerator rapidly recharges PWRcell’s batteries when sunlight is unavailable or insufficient, using DC coupling.
Smart Management Modules (SMMs) – GENERAC’s SMMs allow the PWRcell to maximize its backup power capabilities to prevent system overload and allowing lockout of selected loads for power use management.
PWRview Home Energy Monitoring System – Available for both Apple and Android devices, the PWRview app gives you real-time access to your energy system from your smartphone, tablet, or PC. The app provides real-time energy usage, intelligence and insightful reports, and bill estimates and savings.
